Paediatric Department 

A parent’s worst moments are when their child is unwell. At the Victoria Hospital Paediatric Ward our dedicated team strives to get children healthy and home as soon as possible. This takes place in a brand new ward rebuilt and redecorated in 2013. Of course we recognise the important part a mother plays so in 2013 we built a mother’s centre so mothers can stay overnight. At Victoria Hospital our team of nurses and doctors cares for children with a range of illnesses including pneumonia, diarrhoea, neurological disorders and various infectious diseases.

We offer care from a paediatrician, four doctors and a team of nurses, all dedicated to offering excellent care to the children of the Paediatric Ward. We also value the time and input of a team of volunteers who share their early-child-development knowledge with the mothers once a week.
